He'll probably declare that he himself would make the best secretaries of state, treasury, HUD, commerce and defense, and appoint himself to those positions.

Honestly, I don't have a clue. But I do think it would be extremely solid.
Trump is an unhinged douche, but he has earned his ability to be an unhinged douche (without negative consequences) by being extremely skilled at assembling good teams to support his agendas. I think he would make a terrible president, but his cabinet choices could very well mean more than his personal abilities. Give me Cruz any day over Trump. But I'll certainly not sell the man short on his ability to choose qualified individuals to fill other positions. |

The President is the "Chief EXECUTIVE". Trump's maybe main talent in life, is finding good staff, and driving them hard. as long as he pulls a LaVell Edwards (college hall of fame coach who admitted many people knew more about football than he did, and picked and cultivated excellent staffs) and picks really strong staff (Cruz at Atty General if he doesn't win) and help them drive agenda. if Congress maintains / finds / grows any balls at all, hopefully they can keep his nuttier shit in check. Even if trump supports and AWB, our Conservative Congress should shut that shit down. Trump scares me, if he wins the R nomination, I'll vote for him. Like I did Romney, but my only hope he's not a disaster, is the cabinet he picks and then hopefully, he spends his time managing the cabinet vs being an activist law maker like Obama has been. |
