While I was at the store just a few minutes ago, the police were escorting Santa around town (on a trailer with his sleigh, not in the back of the cruiser). This got me thinking about what St. Nick has on his hip under that suit of his. Seeing how he is an older traditional man I figured he would have a 1911 under there, but in this age of new technology for his sleigh (see “The Santa Clause” with Tim Allen) he might just have a Glock. Any one else have a different opinion? Merry Christmas!

Santa carries a 4 inch .357 mag revolver in a shoulder holster. There is a 12 gauge pump under the seat. By the way, the HO HO HO thing started when some wag suggested a glock.

Yup, definitely the 12 gauge with the "door buster" slugs for those houses with no chimneys.

Sig 228 on his right hip S&W J-frame in his left boot. 4" S&W 686 357 or a tricked out 1911 under his left arm 12ga 870 under his seat. No tupperware anywhere in or on his sled. Now that's a Santa I could admire!!!! (I wear nomex for a living,, let the flames roar) edited because I can't spell

Neither, he carries a deer rifle to keep transportation in line. [shock]

Come on, Santa's Old School. He would definately carry a 1911. His name is Saint Nick, Not Santa "Thug Life" Clause.

Not sure but I bet it would be at least in the 40 Watt range...

Glock. Chimney soot...cold...(Ever tried to grab a 1911 with bare hands after it's been in the snow for a few hours?)...high cap. Plus, if it drops off the sleigh, a Glock won't AD like a 1911 (Series 80s exluded.) Butt ugly...yes. Always reliable? Absolutely. [<|:D>]

I'm thinking a STI hicap 1911 set up for carry, a Benelli M1 S90 under the seat, and a M4 with RIS, Aim Point, and a under barrel 12ga. for the houses with no chimney.

When we took our pistol course, all 5 1911s were utterly reliable, where the Glock 19 next to me was having problems right and left. The instructors, all Glock users, even commented on it after the class. I like and have both designs, but my Kimbers and Para P12 have been utterly and totally reliable, even with hollow points, just like my Glock. Santa would carry a 1911 by the way. He is a traditionalist.

Seeing that Santa is definitely old school and a firm believer of tradition and what works between the two id say a 1911 BUT.... seeing that he's a sophisticated man of the world IM betting he carries a Belgian made browning hi power in a vintage armacrombie & finch leather holster.[pistol] He keeps a Winchester model 97 trench gun under the seat complete with loooong bayonet[shotgun] Then has a browning 50 mounted on a pop up tripod in the rear. guys this is Santa your either naughty or nice he doesn't mess around [50]

Im thinking he carries a stoner, and a flame thrower.

Huh uh, guys. Santa would have the coolest "toy" out there, an FN Five-Seven pistol with HomeBoy sights, full of tracer ammo. --------- "Gonna bust some shots off, Gonna dust some bad kids off. Word"

Santa obviously carries a P-38

C'mon guys, Santa's not THAT old school otherwise he and his elves couldn't have made that x-box he's giving my brother this year. On the contrary, Mr. Clause is a technogeek and loves replacing antiquated technology (1911's... flamesuit on!) with the latest and greatest. Which is why he carries a HK USP Tactical .45 on his utility belt.

As I'm from North Pole and live next to his house. I can confirm it’s a 1911. Clinth

1911 all the way
Link Posted: 12/24/2001 3:11:11 PM EST
santa carries a kimber for primary and a glock 19 for a backup
Link Posted: 12/24/2001 3:15:47 PM EST
I think the Glock 26 would work better as a back up. He might go for the Glock or 1911, but his primary is defiantly a .45. I could agree with the 9mm back up.

He's an Old fart. Last I heard, He was still carrying an Old Colt single action Army .45 long colt. "For travelin' in Injuin country"

A Sig P220 in each hand.[pistol]

Just got word from inside sources that Santa is packing an M4A4 with the SOCOM kit this winter with a suppressed SIG P-228 for backup. Has a PVS-14 for night driving and a couple elves with MP5-K models to watch his six......its a rough world out there......Current intell. has it that some fireplaces made be under heavy survelliance - thats okay though - old Santa plans on doing a fast rope Australian style down the side of the house and threw the back door.........................

It'd have to be a Glock because the Tenifer finish is a must!!!!!!
Link Posted: 12/24/2001 5:54:25 PM EST
This one is a no-brainer. He definately carries a Glock. Who the hell do yall think did the "Glock frozen in ice" portion of the Torture Test? He tested it, it works and now that's what he's packin.

I'm figuring "Sandy Claws" for a couple of sawed-off Browning A-5's in 12 ga. Probably gonna use "reindeer hide" Arnie Schwartz holsters. It's them ex-SEAL Elves you got to watch - cut-down Stoner 63's and the little suckers are "mean." Merry Christmas !

Santa carries an M4 with a Kimber full size as back up. Glock in a door holster. Stinger missles on the sides of the sled. Full bar in the back...with a Swedish hostess.

Santa is a ancient old fogey, so of course he carries a 1911. How about using something designed after your birthdate.
Link Posted: 12/25/2001 1:09:52 PM EST
Santa is a traditionalist. He carries a 1911. Although, he has gone to the AR as his rifle.
