To all you members who joined before say, 2002, or the members who have over 10,000 posts total, and especially to all the moderators, what was your first post or first new topic on ARF.com?

How far back do the archives go? If you can find the first post you ever wrote, or the first topic you ever authored in any section of ARF.com, post it.

Perhaps this is my que to get a membership so I can search them myself...

My first post, suggested by DrFrige, was titled: "Newbie here, are girls allowed?"

I think it went 9 or 10 pages....

I don't really remember. I'm sure it was a question about an AR because I joined when I was looking at buying my first one. That was a few AR's ago.

I can only find my second post on up in the archives. So I don't know what my first one was.
The second one was about RRA uppers.

Mine was my introduction in the MN Hometown board members thread

I think it was "I just bought a Bushmaster". I'm pretty sure I refused to post until I had one... I wish more people did that, this place would clear up quick.

I remember my first TWO!!!

First one was something like: "Hi, Im looking to buy an AR15 and wondering what is the best one to buy?" And the answers looked like this:

"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Colt!"
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU??? A COLT??"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"
"Bushmaster!"

And my SECOND post was: "By the way, what gun did Al Pacino use in HEAT?"

irc i was asking if a nuke would considered a DD under the Nfa and therefore could be owned under the NFA for a 200 doller tax stamp.

Wanted to end a aurgument with a friend over what should people be able to own under the 2nd amendment and i said anything they could afford and he was like well what about nuclear weapons and i said I think one can own a nuke its considered a Destructive Device.

My first post was a question about my sights being way off to one side after zeroing. It took an unusually large amount of windage clicks to zero my new Bushmaster and I was sure there was a big problem. e.

Having been around the AR/M16 weapons family for over 20 years I've seen a lot of strange things, but never saw anything like that, especially in a new weapon. It never took me more than 3-4 clicks to zero any weapon, including some very salty Marine Corps issue 'Nam era M16A1's.

After posting here I learned that several others were having the same problem with thier Bushy AR's. It was ultimately determined that the barrels were over-torqued.

It was either "What gun did Al Pachino use in Tootsie?" or "Here are some pictures of my penis".
I can't reall which of the two, but I do remember that it almost got me banned.

I think my first post was something around the lines of " I can't believe I just registered on a forum where the most popular member plays with dolls and makes movies with them......."
