What to do with a 20” A2 Colt upper with bolt. Long story I got this upper I have not shot and can’t see any need for. It’s an A2 with handle so I can’t mount a scope without using a handle mount. I do have a nice ARMS one but it puts the scope so high it’s uncomfortable to shoot.
I have several flat top carbines and can put a scope on one of them for fun.
This upper is just sitting in the gun safe taking up space.

Any thoughts on what to do with it? Free float maybe? I bet that would look goofy with an A2 rear sight.

This is a weird coincidence, because I was just wondering what to do with a post ban config A2 upper I have. I wanted just the lower, but had to buy the whole gun.
Whats a fair price to ask for a post ban 20" Colt upper with b/bc/ch hndle?

build another AR of course!

I'm one of many that has signed onto this philosophy. I once built a complete AK because I had an AK cleaning kit with no AK stock to stuff it in, and of course post pics.

I had to buy a Ruger P-89 because I bought a p-89x barrel (.30 Luger) in a lot of stuff I picked up at a gunshow.

After I found out how much .30 Luger ammo cost, I sold the gun and the barrel at the next show.
