Just updated an MX record over in Canada eh, what should I do while I wait for it to propagate?

Write yourself a note reminding you to set the ttl low about 24 hours before you have to do this again in the future.

Jerk off as the TTL starts expiring around the internet. If you're in good health you might finish before the last public nameserver updates its cached record.

What sucks is that I have to use their cPanel software to update the MX record.  I have no ability to change TTL etc.
