So I got this almost M4gery...16" HB with KKF Tac Brake and an Aluminum Collapsible Stock thats been JB Welded for years now. The KKF has those set screws holding it on...Me...I dont need a Bayonet lug...so in about 8 hours am I right when I assume that I can now put on a REAL FLASH SUPPRESSOR and a REAL FOLDING STOCK to the BUSHY? How do I or who do I get to thread the barrel for the FS? What thread count/pitch is it? Maybe the PREBANs will come down to realist prices now...

Yes you can do all that. ADCO can do the gunsmithing for you, but I've also heard that Bushmaster is willing to do the change of configuration on their rifles.

I just called Bushmaster to ask about threading my barrel and they said NO, stating that it is too easy to damage the crown resulting in them having to replace the barrel. Personally, I think thats kinda of chicken shit but hey, it's their business decision. As far as replacing stocks, the conversation never got that far.

Removing a comp may be a different issue as well. Good luck.
