Go google an image.

You will be met with a tiled page of WAY more images than usual.

I THINK I could get to like it, but you have to scroll over each one to see the size first.

This is more in line with Bing.

This.

Bing's image search was better. Google took a page from their idea book. Now it's 100 times better.

Heard about it on TWiG yesterday. Looks nice IMHO.

Nothing has changed for me.
Thank goodness.

That screen capture up there looks like a nightmare.

Its most likely a CYA mode so they have plausible deniability for copyright control

Gone is the isolate this image on one page mode so the user can simply harvest it.

You can get the old view back if you anonymize your google useage
Link Posted: 7/22/2010 3:25:52 PM EST
I personally like it better, Instead of having to go from page 1 to page 2 it has MULTIPLE pages all split up on one page...I think it is MUCH MUCH easier to navigate
Link Posted: 7/22/2010 8:36:03 PM EST
With Firefox:

Install Greasemonkey if you haven't already
Add in the "Greased Lightbox" script

Then you can mouseover the thumbnails in google image search, or about anywhere, actually, and the full size image shows up in a "lightbox" (darks out background).
