I'm using Mozilla and just tried a system restore which didn't  fix it. Operating sys. is XP

I still have Explorer available and my bookmarks/favorites are still there. Is there a way to import from explorer to Mozilla?

Got to bookmarks-manage bookmarks (which opens a new window) then go to File-Import.

PS  and you have a virus also.

First close down Firefox, then Select Start > Run... from the Windows
Start menu.

Then type "firefox.exe -profilemanager" without the quotation marks and press OK.

That will take you to the profile manager menu.

There are two profiles select them until you find the bookmarks, lost.
