I don't know where you live but I live in the left leaning, and mean really left leaning, half of WA state and the left are only supportive of the police when it's convenient for them. The rest of the time, in the press anyways, they rarely do anything but bash and slander police.

Depression is a Dirty Bitch. It makes sane people do insane things. And it will only get worse as more people will refuse to be treated due to reporting regulations in our wonderful Obamacare. They don't want to loose their gun rights so they won't seek treatment and then you'll find out about them on the front page of the local newspaper when they go off the their rockers and start shooting things and other people up.

Cops are just like the rest of the population, there are some good really ones and some not so good. I can't say about this one but I didn't notice if it was mentioned was he on antidepressants . Antidepressants seem to enhance the need to kill others then yourself.
