I would go with TX as well.

NY's new plate looks like OH's drunk driving plate.

ETA: The new Ohio plate looks like Iowa's and the new DL license looks pink.

I like AKs, naturally.

We have about 25 different ones in FL.

If I remember correctly, some trade pub had Idaho's as the best.

No wonder all the other states are trying to copy us!

I'm really partial to my state's plate design. At least before they decided to put flags or balloons on them or color it turquoise.

I miss the old plates...

I was going to say the same thing about the white plates on roads that have curves.

How about that Horny Toad one though? I think it is awesome. But then again, I am just really fond of reptiles.

I have agree as I believe some of the ranchers in west texas have never even seen a curve before the way they drive on them.

I swear they only picked that clown plate as the default plate to make people pay extra for a "custom one" that looks like a normal plate should.

I like these ones

This isn't bad either

I think those are the ones I usually see rodding on their brakes on Suicide 70 to Ruidoso.

Sorry Deej, that's the old Ohio plate. The new "Beautiful Ohio" plate looks like a reject from a kindergarten fingerpainting class.

No way. The new Texas plates have "Homosexual" written all over them. When I bought my new truck I paid the $5 to transfer my old plates to the vehicle.

Texas has caught the ghey with those new plates.
I blame the influx of liberals from yankeeland and commiefornia.

The new Maryland one's are really gay.

Yep, prefer the plain plates. They are not supposed to be artwork, just license plates.

Unfortunately, I'll probably get stuck with this abomination on my newest (old) bike that I've been fixing up, unless they end up offering the old ones (or something halfway decent) next year. I actually considered getting it registered this summer just for a chance to get the old, proper plates - even though I won't have the bike up and running until next spring (at least).

The old plates were perfect. They provided an appealing artistic design while maintaining excellent readability and instant identification. It seems most have forgotten the purpose of fucking license plates in the first place. If I have to squint or stare at it to definitively identify the plate number and state of origin, then its a terrible fucking design that should have never, ever seen the light of day.

At least they are letting us keep the old ones on anything that already has 'em...
