Yamaha, the real sound bar, not a pale imitation.

Something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BFBAT8/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_2?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000BKH1ME&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1MWQ4HZ49Q14XM1KQWT4

Shop around and you can find some models significantly discounted.

Interesting.  Does it really sound as good as they say it does in the description?

It is a Dynex 32" 1080p best buy brand before they downgraded all the cheap TV's to 720p
I may be upgrading that Dynex TV to a Hitachi 42" LCD 120HZ since Sams Club had one for $409 (closeout item)
Maybe the sound from the Hitachi will good enough to not need a sound bar

I would not advise you to purchase the sound bar.  The last sound bar I walked in front of exhibited a horrible comb filtering effect, which is basically poor sound due to phase cancellation.

To suggest that one can achieve 5.1 audio by bouncing sound off the walls is complete rubbish, if only because of discrepancies in room dimensions.

Either live with your TV speakers, or buy a pair of decent external speakers.  I would rather listen to stereo audio than buy into some crappy surround sound gimmick.
