I want to load and store a bunch of 30 rnd AR and AK74 mags. What size ammo can is best and how many mags will it hold?

fat .50 will hold 24 loaded USGI 30 round mags IIRC

A SAW can will hold a total of 30 USGI 30 round mags if they are stacked upright in 4 rows of 7 across with 2 laying on top.
