These came with a house I bought.  All glass.  All empty.

What creative use can I make of them?

Get in touch with a glass blower.  They make all kinds of melted stuff with swirled necks.  Craigslist. You could have enough bucks there to buy a whole case of JD.  Trade the whole lot for 2 fiths.  Crunch it all up and mortar it on top of your new stone defense wall.

Sorry, OP. You really want wine bottles. Good cabernet bottles with thick glass, and long straight necks make the best bottleneck slides. Those only good for one thing - recycling.

Was the previous owner of Irish descent? Just curious. I had a similar pile of liquor bottles during my heavy drinking period - all the same brand, all nicely lined up.

Some real lightweights in here that think 180 bottles is a lot.

That's well under a years worth of liquor.
