Depends on whether you're making an "ethical" kill or not. I wouldn't go below 30-30 for a Russian, but that's me....

Pretty sure it's this

Sar k2
Link Posted: 12/19/2016 7:23:09 PM EST
It looked more Glockish to me and smaller than the SAR .45 ..maybe one of these?

Link Posted: 12/19/2016 7:25:12 PM EST
.45 ain't no joke.
Link Posted: 12/19/2016 7:26:02 PM EST
Sounded like a smaller caliber than .45 acp.

No joke right there. Dude fell like a sack of bricks, and didn't move at all once on the floor.

There was movement from him after he hit the floor but could have just been muscles relaxing as the body expired. I think it was right hand movement.

Zigana P45, based on the rear sight and guide rod size.

I think this one.

EAA SAR B6P Sarsilmaz Compact,

Don't think so. Shooter looks like he's using a compact, and the top of the slide looks different, specifically the shape of the ejection port

I concur with this guess. Ejection port cutout matches.

I think that's the right gun but the wrong name. I believe that to be a Canik TP9, which I think is consistent with what the assassin was using.

I believe it's a clone of a clone, and it best resembles it.

There are 5 trillion Turkish arms producers shitting out a trillion variants of everything out there.

I used to have an identical gun, looked like the EAA Witness Polymer Compact .45. It had a "Cz" circle C w/small z inside molded on the grips, otherwise identical to the EAA. It was called a "Cz" TT 45. I paid all of $300 for it. The thing was ugly as homemade sin, but it just ran and ran and ran.

This information will surely be mentioned in the trial/post mortem press conference.

So now that we have solved the mystery, I propose a new one.

What ammo was he using? Imagine if it was Tula or Wolf

Looks like a Sarsilmaz ST9

It seemed he went down way too fast and with little to no movement considering a torso shot with a handgun. Looked like a Hollywood version of a shooting.

Could have hit the spine I guess.

Looked like he had 4-5 rounds in him before he even realized something was afoot
And another 3-4 beofre he hit the ground

Guessing spine , lungs , heart , pretty much everything was shot to pieces

I haven't had the chance to watch the full video at work. I suppose I should do that.

I didn't see the video but the way he is laying on the ground with arms out to the sides made me think it was a head shot, or yea, possibly brain stem. I imagine if I were shot and not immediately dead my hands would move to cover the wound and if possible the fetal position would be assumed. The guy either died instantly or it was staged, and I doubt it was staged....

Fuq this is what I've been meaning to say. I knew it was one of SARs poly 9s with a chrome barrel and distinct rail/muzzle area, but ST-10 was the last one I had been researching and was on the tip of my tongue.
