Ok it seems every possible kind of music gets flamed on this site. Rap, country, metal, ect ect. It seems that the AFRCOM consensus on music is that if it isnt Ted Nugent it probably sucks.

Tell me is ARFCOM, what kind of music DO you like!?

I like what I like, no matter what it is, who made it, or style it is. Some people who claim to be music fans are nothing of the sort, in the same way that the most uptight people claim to have a great sense of humor.

I have Billie Holiday albums, and Rammstein albums. I like Junior Brown, and I'm not afraid to like Jewel. A good song is a good song.

I have to wonder about people who load up their Ipod with 3 hours of death metal, and nothing else. I wonder if they eat nothing but hamburger every day, and nothing else.

Popular and rock from the '40s, all the way up to about '95 or so, along with some classical.

This answer works for me, too.

I like just about anything that isn't RAP or Hip Hop. Big band (and other swing genre) and everything from the 50s, 60s and 70s are my top picks. As for heavy metals, gotta go for Iron Maiden, flat out. Don't tell anybody, but I like ABBA, too. Did I just say that out loud? Damn!

Damn, that'd be a long list .

Mostly Roots/Dancehall/Dub

Some hip-hop.

Love old country Johnny Cash is one of my top fave.

Some good classic/southern rock.

The only thing I really don't like is the new twangy BS country.

Man, Ted Nugent's music is terrible. He should just go into politics and put his guitars in a display case.

I don't have a use for Nugent. He is an example of everything that is wrong with celebtities, and he is not a good role model, or spokesman for our community.
