I carry a cheep-o walmart shrade folder, but it serves me well.

Benchmade 705S when at the office w/spare Benchmade 42S in the briefcase. Chris Reeve Sebenza or Shadow IV when out in the bush. Ka-Bar in the truck at all times, just in case.
Dieter CQB AUTolock. carry my benchmade titanium when in states that don't allow "switchblades" but i try to keep that to a minimum
CRKT ApacheIII...saving my nickles and dimes for a Benchmade with the Axis Lock
Not only a knife, a SOG Paratool http://www.sogknives.com/multitools.htm. I carry it at all times however; when I do carry a knife it is a fully serrated Schrade cliphanger viper.
A Gerber 800 Multi-Plier on the belt.
Gerber folder in the boot. |
benchmade 710 pre production run no 162 of 1000 most knife colectors cringe when they see it.
28" Katana (but sometimes that's socially unacceptable).
Then it's the Spyderco "Police". |
Left pocket = Buck 701x pocket knife.
Right pocket = Kershaw 1550ST Ken Onion Blackout. CrossEyed [sniper] |
Benchmade's "Axis Lock" 710. Its faster(open & close)than any of my autos. Sometimes two,
Set-up Left & Right. |
Benchmade 720
First production run 0358/1000 Ordered just a 720 and this puppy showed up |
Spyderco clip it. Clips to the belt loop no sheath necessary. They made those auto's illegal in Michigan. Sure go figure in Motor city all you can find are cars with auto matic transmissions but auto knives and auto guns are out.
Buck fixed blade.
I only use it for hunting. Got it as a Christmas present for my 14th B-day. Exact same one I used to try to take down Big Foot with all those years ago. [:D] [See Big Foot thread for futher details] |
I used to carry a Benchmade Emerson CQC-7, but that one got "lost." I now carry a Gerber Applegate/Fairbairn Covert. Of course, the little NRA Second Amendment Taskforce Victorinox Swiss Army is always in my pocket.
Looking to be able to buy a REAL Emerson eventually. Of course, I would just love a Gerber like I have, if it had the Emerson G-10 narrow scales, and a tighter action. Semper Fi! Ken Little |
Beretta AirLight 30% serrated/skeletonized full-size in a horizontal nylon belt sheath; this is my BusDriversTool for use as a trolley-rope cutter, etc.
I may get the BuckTool to supplement the Beretta. The bigger "woods" knife is the Cold Steel SRK; with the Ghurka Light in the plans soon. |
spyderco "civilian" and a benchmade preproduction with the purple and black handle.
Dont "carry" it but i do have a Cold Steel LTC Khukri, nice to have with me when building stages for 3 gun matches here. And will do some damage to other materials than wood if need be.
Sog jet edge with carbon fiber handles, it matches the grips i have on my Kimber 1911
Kershaw 2420 plain edge. 24/7/365. Sometimes carry Tanto Blade butterfly, it goes through almost anything. For feild use/hunting=Buck Master.

Quoted: I carry a cheep-o walmart shrade folder, but it serves me well. View Quote AMEN!! i got a shrade cliphanger. best 20$ i ever spent. had it for years. sharp as hell and i dont care what anyone else says. noting short of a switchblade opens faster. conflicts have been avoided when my adversary "gets freaked out by my switchblade" i have tried more expensive knives but i always go back to the shrade. i can open it with one hand and no fingers. just s flick of the wrist. the half sceraded edge cuts like hell. not hte toughtest knife i own, but the best for day to day use. i recommend one, the ycan be found for inder 15$ the shrade is good for everyday use BUT, for more hostile carrying situtations i pack my FURY tanto boot knife. it might be the coolest knife i own. REALLY sharp, and the serraded edge is nasty. its a real badass |
I used to carry a Benchmade/Emerson spec war model cqc 7.
Retired for a Emerson Commando with the opening hook, the fastest knife I have ever used including auto`s. The hook grabs the corner of the pocket and opens it as it is drawn from the pocket. The auto`s have to be in hand to be faster. The Commander flicks open effortlessly in the hand also. Also carry a Gerber multi tool and a keychain swiss army. |
I carry a Microtech Socom!! Used to have a cheap shrade that i really liked.
