They make appliance spray paint - it's usually epoxy based paint. I used it on a range hood/fan and it turned out pretty well. Rust-Oleom makes it.

Look at Lowe's or a hardware store. They should have a spray epoxy based appliance paint.

i repainted my rusty kegerator (chest freezer) with rustoleum.  It looks great.  what kind of material is the outside of the refigerator?

Paint a fridge????  Hell, I got so many damn magnets on the fridge.... I don't even know what COLOR  it is/was to begin with!
