Mayor has so much corruption under him it's rediculas.
Crime is rampid and out of control (grandparents nearly got shot in their own home from a scuffle a block away).

Article I, § 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution, adopted in 1998, states: “[t]he people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other lawful purpose.”



Yet we still can't CCW, and will possible get into trouble for open carry. But hey NFA stuff is legal if you can get a signature or go the corp route.

Michigan's nifty Constitutional provision makes no mention of the hoops you have to jump through to buy a handgun, ref: registration.

Article 1, § 32 of the Indiana Constitution provides that “[t]he people shall have a right to bear arms, for the defense of themselves and the State.”  Indiana courts have interpreted this provision to allow an individual to possess firearms for purposes of self-defense and defense of the state, subject to reasonable police power regulation.

18-12-206. Sheriff - issuance or denial of permits - report.
Statute text

(a) Approve the permit application and issue the permit; or

Isn't TX the place with widely varying laws by county, in theory even if not in practice, how about adopting this:

2) (a) Based on the findings specified in subsection (1) of this section, the general assembly concludes that the carrying of weapons in private automobiles or other private means of conveyance for hunting or for lawful protection of a person's or another's person or property while traveling into, through, or within, a municipal, county, or city and county jurisdiction, regardless of the number of times the person stops in a jurisdiction, is a matter of statewide concern and is not an offense.
