windows desktop restart. desktop to desktop - 55 seconds
cold boot, starting with power off, to windows desktop - 45 seconds

what's yours? just curious.

About 26secs for poweron to internet.

My computer is running FreeBSD. Uptime is measured in years; I only reboot for hardware upgrades...

I guess it would matter if I re-booted with any frequency. Under a minute I would guess. I leave mine on 24/7 except on vacation. Mac Powerbook G4.
