Over the years a lot of songs have come and gone, but for me

"Desperado by the Eagles"

keeps coming back as one of my all time favorites.

Hard to pick just one.... Tool definite favorite band.
I guess I would have to go with "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears, I have loved that song since I was a kid and it never gets old.

Way to many good songs to have one favorite. It's all about the mood I'm in at the time.

Very cool! Love the Allegro in G movement. Used to play it on the guitar for warm-ups. Bach is definitely my favorite classical/baroque composer.

You know... I had to think about my "favorite song" for a bit. My favorite bands have always been prog rock/metal bands. But I love all kinds of music and depending upon my mood, my favorite song at the moment changes.

So I had to think about what song consistantly moves me whenever I heard it. And as hard as it was to admit to myself, I would have to say "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey. Whenever that song comes on the radio, I'm instantly engrossed in it. No matter what mood I'm in! This personal revelation came as quite a surprize to me as I'd never realized it before now.

Even the best song gets old if you listen to it enough. There are a few that give me goose bumps almost every time I here them:

Foreplay-Long Time, by Boston
Carry on my Wayward Son by Kansas
Red Barchetta by Rush

It would be hard to pick between those, for me.
