I'm kinda curious as to what firearm you covet the most? It does not have to be one you already own.

Mine is a true HK MP5 in full auto with the collapsable stock (Although I'd gladly settle for a standard stock model.

So, what is yours?

Probably a Sig 55X, just because I don't see myself getting one anytime soon.

Scratch that, I want a STG 44!

I'm happy with what I got. But at work I get paid to fire M240B's and we have some M4 SOPMODS...........I NEED an NFA transferable M16 lower..........I love 10.5" bbl full auto firepower out of an M4. I don't even care about exotic weapons. I've fired a bunch of subguns and the only ones I really like are in .45acp.

In my "career", I've fired a LOT of M2 .50's, MK19's, M249's, M240B's, M60's, M16, subguns, etc......but ultimately I stick to my love for two things - short M16/M4 variants and the M240. M249 is nice too when maintained. A German MG3 would be the TITS.

That's a really bad animation.  The front of the stock's "forks" don't move down the receiver.

For me, a solid, well built, USGI M14.  ETA - That I can buy off of the shelf and not have to pay someone to build or build myself.

HK SMG-II.

Just something about it...

remtek.com/arms/hk/mil/mp5/smg2/smg2.htm

"Sources indicate that the SMG II was designed in 1984 for a classified end-user who was well familiar with the advantages and shortcomings of the entire MP5-series of weapons. The result of HK's development and user feedback was a synthesis of some of the more desirable features within the MP5 system, several features from other weapons such as the UZI, and some new developments unique to the SMG II."

Snip------- 8<

"HK reportedly has handmade at least 60 SMG IIs for one or more classified clients, and this is not surprising for several reasons. First of all, they have been known to custom-make firearms in the past - namely specially engraved or plated weapons for Middle-Eastern royalty. Also, their engineers have proved quite willing to take user feedback directly to the drawing board. Evidence of this can be seen in the MP5K, which was supposedly designed at the request of their South American sales representative, and in the addition of user-inspired features such as a bolt catch to some of their existing weapons. The SMG II represents the logical evolution of HK's proven MP5 which, by 1984, had already come to be recognized as the pre-eminent submachine gun by many within the free-world's law enforcement and SpecWar communities. However, in today's free world, the SMG II's versatility allows its user enough options to guarantee that it will never be placed in the hands of any other than a select few".

There are a number of Soviet submachine guns that are my "Holy Grail".  One is the PP-AK in 9X18.  I can't find a picture of it.  PP-71.  I want a PP-19 Bizon submachine gun in 9x18mm PM, 7.62x25mm Tokarev and 9x19mm Luger:

I would need a bunch of spare parts, magazines and ammo.  Select-fire of course.  I would be happy with any one of them.  The closest I will get is a Krink SBR.  If I can ever get my hands on a receiver and builder for it.
