Mine is that we all have a Happy and Safe holiday with the ones we care most about. (You know like our handguns. LOL) Actually with friends and family whether here or abroad. May you all have the kind of Christmas you dream of.

My Christmas wish is that I don't have to drive in a blizzard to Cleveland like I did last year.  I hate snow.  If Kalifonistan didn't suck so bad, I'd move there.

Or possibly the week before the General Election!

I am absolutely against playing politics with the "War on Terror" [rolleyes].

If President Bush wants to make political points, he should declare a serious "War on Terrorists," and turn all of our Tier 1 assets loose. Seven more months of respiration and sinus rhythm for Osama bin Laden is seven months too long.

When it comes to US troops risking --and losing-- their lives, anyone who plays politics from either side of the aisle gets painted with the same brush. If the President can't win the public opinion without a well-timed prize at the cost of a few US soldiers, he ought to go back to the oil business.

Just because the scummy Democrats are doing it doesn't make it right for the President to do it.

"This war" meaning stabilizing Iraq, or the hunt for Osama bin Laden? Which effort are we talking about here? My wish was for Osama to be killed for Christmas, and now you're talking about the Iraqi resistance. Let's define our terms here.

If we're going to politicize the war, let's not pull punches. A politicized war is just blood for votes. That leads to some dangerous math.

Am I happy that the President gets a little bump out of Saddam's arrest? Sure, I think it's great.

Would I condone engineering Osama's killing at a certain time and place to give the President a bump? No, and I think that if you're willing to play those games, you're teetering on a very thin line.
