I thought it was kinda fishy when I read the "I keep no records and expect you to do the same" bit. What is this thing?
Link Posted: 12/25/2003 11:04:59 PM EDT
Auto sear.

Unless you have a registered MG, STAY VERY FAR AWAY!
Link Posted: 12/25/2003 11:08:58 PM EDT
I see, I was suspicious enough of the wording of the description to stay away. Wasn't planning on buying anyway, just curious what it was. Thanks.

i feel guilty even looking at auctions like that.
Link Posted: 12/25/2003 11:11:51 PM EDT
Buyer and seller keep no records, but I wonder if this idiot realizes that there is a record of it now on EBay!

What a maroon

This is a class 2 drill jig required to convert an AR-15 to an M-16. It is a simple tool to locate the proper placement and aid in drilling of the auto sear pin hole. This is a difficult task to do without some sort of guide. We believe in the KISS theory "keep it simple stupid". This is very easy to use and produces accurate results. May soon be unavailable due to ever tightening gun laws. LOBBY FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!!!! I keep no records and expect the buyer to do the same. Note: I am in no way advocating the breaking of any laws or commiting any felonies. This product is for instructional purposes only and should only be used by class 2 manufacturers.

yeah..  this guy is being watched..  he also sells instructional CD's on how to convert..  and the jig it self like above for correct drilling placement for auto sear.

Worried the thought police are monitoring your brain waves?

Feel free to order ten of each.

You’re fine as long as you don’t possess an AR-15 AND full auto parts.

A simmilar case went to court long ago regardign this issue. The judge ruled that because the rifle and parts were kept on separate levels of his house they could not prove intent. Maybe someone can dig it up.

Anyway, sounds like a goverment stig operation. The "will not ship outside USA" set me off a bit.
Link Posted: 12/26/2003 1:01:50 AM EDT
It is illegal to even own full-auto parts in the State of Washington, whether or not you own a rifle that the parts are made for. If you have a kit laying around, get rid of the F/A parts, like the ejector block, auto-sear or what have you...

[wave]Hi Mr. BATFE Agent!

Maybe its just me, but based on what ya'll have said about it....that looks like one hell of a trap.  But I'm not gonna go look at those links myself.  Someone should do the prospective buyer(s) a favor and report the seller to ebay for violating ebay's rules....

There's a sucker born every minute.

This would be far easier for your average 'I'm gonna make me a machinegun and nobody will know' eBay  moron.

I think I will buy these evil things and destroy them to keep them from the hands of non-law abiding citizens.[0:)]

Is it just me or does the LL in particular drive you nuts?

I mean, because of some stupid idiotic laws, a 2 dollar piece of metal FUN is a felony or costs several thousand bucks.
Every time I see one it just makes me crazy. I could make one in an afternoon if it was legal!

Not such a good deal if you include the S&H...

I clicked on the link. Does that mean the ATF will be coming to see me soon?

Guys, has anyone checked his feedback history???? This isn't the first one he has sold:

On a lighter note, here is another one from his feedback. Does this weapon look funny to you? Looks like the barrel needs some Viagra to me.

All of which is 100% legal, but the bidder had better have his C2/SOT (as the seller so wisely notes), or those items could get him a nice ticket to Club Fed...

Remember: It's not illegal to make MGs, it's illegal to do so without the proper license...

Since this guy tells you up front what you need to be to use it legally, there's no problem there...
