I'm torn between being on a hijacked plane that is being deliberately flown into the ground, being eaten alive by an animal, being tortured, or being married to my ex-wife. The fear and pain would be pretty high with them all.

Fire or torture. Depends on the heat of the fire and whos doing the torturing. Some of that medieval torture though would probably rank right up there as some of the worst I would think.

When I was 7 I saw "Jaws" in the theater, and became an instant shark fanatic.

I had a paperback book about shark attacks, called (strangely enough) "SHARK ATTACK!!"

On the back cover was the phrase, "What could possibly equal being EATEN ALIVE by a MONSTER FISH!?!?!?"

The combination of being eaten while drowning, that's tough.

Nazi extermination camps would have probably been the worst way to go. Gassing, starvation, human medical experimentation, forced labor until you die, etc.
