Me: $15.00 each for Israeli Orlite AR-15 mags during the 94-04 ban. They were NIP when I bought them, loaded them and stashed them away. A few months later they all had feed lip cracks. Overpaid because they couldn't even be used.

I guess it would $13 for a PMAG at a gunshow. Its okay though I sold it for double during the panic.

5.56 (10) are retarded even when there is not a panic.

I paid some stupid amount for a HK USP 16 round mag during the ban.

It was an impulse buy.

I bough a few USGIs for $20 each. It was from a guy years ago that was helping me out with a few things. I picked them up just to pay it back a little. I still got the better end of the deal.

Most I've ever paid for peemahgs was $16 and normally no more than $14. USGIs for $8 normally, but this last purchase was $6 each.

Hmm never have.  The most I've paid for magazines period was $30 ea. for some used USP 45 12 round mags.  They had been "refinished" with something that looked like black paint but felt like sand paper.  But, it was right after the AWB sunset and CDNN was giving away a 10 round magazine with every 12 round bought.

I've always tried to buy when the price was low and tried to grab deals when I found them.  I've bought some shitty mags (Promag, USA Mags, etc) but not more than the going price.

60 bucks for a OEM S&W mag during the middle of the ban.  Guys these days have no idea how good they have it.  I remember when beat up black follower 30 round AR mags were going for a premium.

It only got worse. $125 for FML per 9/94 Glock 19 mags was common n NYS right up until the SAFE Act passed a year ago.

HK 93 mags were always expensive. Usually around $75, but I always bought more when I found them. Same with VP70z mags.

Sig P238 magazine.  The gun only ships with one mag.

I told my wife that if she was going to carry a 380, she at least ought to have a spare magazine.

Forty fuckin dollars for one mag.  Forty fuckin dollars, dudes.

This was before I realized that Colt mags which are half the price also work.

All our other Sigs only get MecGar mags, because fuck paying Sig's prices for them.  Holy shit, man.

$50 bucks each for 2 mags for an out of production pistol from an out of business company.

I was lucky I found any at all in the bottom of a gunshow box, but the gun is LNIB and a decent gun even though it is near worthless on the open market.

I've always prided myself on not overpaying for mags, always seemed to find deals. I even got a nork ak mag for around 8-9 bucks

But I admit, I gave 150 for a Romanian 75rd drum during the panic. I wanted one.

I wanted some extra Steyr GB mags.
They were going for about $150 apiece when I was looking.

I found a guy on gunbroker who was selling a GB with 3 mags for $500.

I figured I bought the three mags for the going price and the pistol was $50!

I think I overpaid a bit because the plastic wrapper was gone and some of the pages were stuck together.

$100 for a used G21 13 rd non-drop free around the same time. Having to pull it out of the mag well bothered more than what I paid for it.

A couple months after Sandy Hook, I was looking for AK magazines on GunBroker. I had the panic buy red haze clouding my judgement and quickly hit 'buy' on an ad that showed a picture of 4 AK magazines for, like, $38. Each picture showed a group of 4 mags, another one of the pictures showed a divided cardboard boxed with 4 mags in each compartment. The description said "These 4 magazines were chosen at random". After committing to buy "them", I took a closer look at the fine print and noticed that the ad said "This auction is for ONE magazine".

I don't understand you guys complaining about USP mags, never have paid more than $25 each for mine. You just got to look. Picked up a pair off of Gunbroker last summer for $30, new in pack.

I bought a couple of hundred from Robert as well.

Those things cost about $35 - $65 each at one time.

$89 for a 5 round 30-06 Tikka 695 mag made by Beretta.
I needed one, only a couple of online vendors had them so I had no choice but to pony up.
The good news was I got the Tikka 695 with a Leopold scope for $100, only it was missing the mag.

Figure about $200 in the whole gun was still a steal.
