Mozilla! Download it and stop using IE. This will solve all of your problems - it bloicks pop-ups and prevents spyware from downloading too.

Mozilla Firefox will put the hurt on pop ups, and has the advantage of being less vulnerable than Internet Explorer.

For a firewall I have had the best luck with Sygate Personal Firewall, it's FREE for personal use.

For Spy Ware removal I recommend Ad Aware, it is also FREE for personal use.

I use Google toolbar for the popup blocker, plus you can search at any time, plus extras.

For spyware I use Spybot and AdAware.  Find both here.

Run Adware, and Spyboy Search and Destroy and you will not have any more pop-ups and it lets your computer run faster becuase it deletes all the bots and stuff that run in the backgroung without you knwing.

I'll have to agree with the other guys that Mozilla will fix just about everything for you.  I've go it on both my comps and its far ahead of IE.  No more pop ups.

If you are running XP then Service Pack 2 is a good idea.  It blocks some pop ups and updates some critical security flaws in ALL other versions of Windows.

The Google toolbar has a pop-up blocker. Takes about 2 minutes to install and set up.
