Not so much of a 'moderate' as someone who doesn't subscribe to any particular political philosophy.

A moderate is one who has no core values, so they sway from issue to issue, often without logic.

A moderate is someone that doesn't have enough backbone to make a decision or is too politically correct to piss someone off.

No, no, that is a "sheeple". A moderate is the person that is told by another person what to tell the sheeple.

I would tend to agree but you have all these 'talking heads' claiming Democrat candidates as moderates and Republican candidates (save Olympia Snowe and Lincoln Chafee) as right wingers who can't win.
