1. What do you guys think?

The owner of my LGS really this round.
I also like the the multi caliber platform.

2. Do they make one that runs .45 as well?

3. It's there a carbine on the horizon in any of these calibers?

1: Rock Island Line is a mighty fine line

2: TCM offers good vintage movies

3: 22 is a relatively hard to find, but immensely popular caliber

If I didn't already own a 5.7, and if I were a few years younger, I would have one.

It doesn't serve any great purpose, but should be fun to shoot.

Sort of like my 5.7, fun to shoot, but not serving any great purpose.

My LGS got his first two yesterday. A good customer bought one, said he would shoot it and see if he wanted the other one. He called back to have the LGS hold the second one for him.
Their are several local people that buy ammo regularly and smile when asked if they like the gun.

I imagine the recoil is similar to the 9mm so they can offer the barrel and spring for 9mm.

51108 - TCM 22 Rifle
This is the first of a new line of Centerfire rifles for Rock Island Armory. It's intended for mid-range use with a mounted scope and is perfect for varmint hunting. We've created this beauty to be exclusively chambered in Armscor's signature caliber, .22TCM - which happens to scream at over 2,800 fps. The 5 round mag can be interchanged with the 17 round .22 TCM pistol mag, turning this into a high-capacity rifle.

It is a neck down 9mm case to .22.
Very High velocity .22.

In this platform you can swap out the barrel and maybe some other parts (not sure) and run 9mm in the same pistol.

I'm hopeful that it could also accommodate .45 on that platform via a slide swap.

A tactical carbine would be nice too that runs the mags as well.

Personally, I would rather have a .38 Super and/or a 9x23mm alternative barrel.

Both should fit in the magazine, and function properly, (hopefully).

9x23mm Winchester in a rifle barrel would produce near .357 magnum ballistics. Also, with 147 grain XTP bullets, decent sub-sonic performance for the suppressor crowd. Too bad that RIA rifle would need re-barreling.
