What is Bra Bulge and why is it called that? - OK so I've heard the term a number of times and at least once on TV. What is it, why is it called that and can it be prevented (sounds bad right - bulge, IS bad???)?

Thanks Ladies.

My thoughts too. On the sides, maybe?

Bulge = bad, cup runneth over, now that would be good - I find that very sexy.

I'm guessing too small of a bra and "spillage" in areas.......

www.king5.com/lifestyles/stories/NW_072605FAKbra_bulge_fashionJM.10932705.html

I'm guessing from the pics and article that it's when the chest back muscles lose tone and firmness, letting the bra sink in and creating bulges around the edges.

Doesn't anybody use google?

It's usually not a good thing--rolls on the back that run over the bra. Not the good kind of running over.

Can happen when the bra is too small or back muscles aren't toned.

It's the bulge that shows in the back around the bra strap. It looks pretty nasty with a tight fitting top. I've always thought it was due to an incorrectly fitting bra but it is 'suppose' to be cause by the way the bra is made. I think the 'cup runneth over' thing is referred to as 'spilling'.

Uh, I've seen your picture and I could see where that positive interpretation would come from.
