This is not meant to bash anyone who games but I can't get into them anymore. I used to play them all the time when I was growing up and in college but now I have zero interest. My son likes playing COD and stuff and I would like to be able to play with him but five minutes on the Xbox and I want to poke my eyes out.

I just snagged Metro Redux off gamestop's website for $25 new. Loved those two games on 360 if you've never played the Metro games you should check it out

I used to be a COD fanboi, but since Ghosts and Advanced Warfare have been failures (IMO), I have been playing a lot of Battlefield 3 and 4 and love it!

As long time Forza fan I find myself severely disappointed in Forza 5.
Too much JJ Abraham's lense flare shit on the tracks. The handling is better yet worse, okay i get that maybe the cars have more mass or are more realistic. But the handling seems to be there one second yet not in nearly identical braking/entry/apexes. The menus and "career" mode pisses me off, a year after release and no Porsches(same problem happened in Forza 4 due to EA holding license). The game just had too much shit crammed into it to make it a "release title". I would say buy F5 used or look towards a rental of it. Not impressed with the Xbox 1. Party chat sucks and Microsuk fucked the uswr interface worse than that of Windoze 7/8 for those who prefer xp style classic. Not to mention everything on Xbone seems to be 720 where PS4 got the 1080 going. Microsoft rested on their laurels and made an inferior device. That or they got butt hurt about everyone wanting offline mode and no kinnect so they pissed all over the thing. |
