As I recall - some years ago an ad was placed in SOF and the respondent was involved in a murder plot. I can't remember if a death actually ocurred, but there was prison time for some folks, and lawsuits against SOF for publishing those ads.
As a result of this fracas, they stopped taking ads for Mercs and "men of action". Speaking of SOF, whatever happened to the magazines NEW BREED, GUNG-HO and SURVIVE? |

Speaking of SOF, whatever happened to the magazines NEW BREED, GUNG-HO and SURVIVE? I actually read Gung Ho more than the others...they always had cool special issues on the worlds Elite combat units. |
