I always prefer to have a coffe mug that I really like. It may sound strange, but I have some mugs that I preefer to drink my coffee from more than others. I switch the mug I use only when I find one I like moore. At home I will look for my favorite mugs in the cupboard, & in the dishwasher, even if there are plenty of others availible. Right now I have one from Alaska I use at work, but as today is my birthday, my wife & son bought me a Marine Corps mug that I said I wanted, so I will switch it out when I go to work next. I don't know why it is important to me. It just is. I like it when people notice my cup, & I do notice theirs. It seems like a cup is just a cup to some folks though.
So what does your mug say about you?

I hope Mugzilla replies to this.

That I drink way too much coffee.

The place I last worked had these really cool one shot coffee makers.  You put a little sealed cup of grounds in the top, put your mug underneath and hit GO.  Freshly brewed cup right then and there in 30 seconds.  It was tuned to fill one of those standard styrofoam cups.

I could put three fillings in my one mug.  [coffee]

Happy Birthday Search  [bday]

edited to add: My mugs show that I drink way too much coffee. Usally 2 pots aday by myself.

My wife and I collect coffee mugs, but I do have 3 favorite designs.

1 is a set of 4 heavy ceramic mugs that my mom got me and only I use.

1 is a set of 2 green glass starbucks mugs that only I use.

and the last is a set of 2 X-File's mugs that only I use.

What's I like about them is that all three styles hold a lot (which is very important) and that I am the only one that use's them.

Again Happy Birthday [party]

ED

Keurig Coffee Brewing Systems...they kick ass!  They are even introducing a home version this summer.  A little salty though at $200.00.

I've got a set of those way cool mugs.
MP5s
AKs
ARs
1911s

They are on the fireplace mantle. I drink from a Bushy mug.

An X-GF whos computer I used had many a digital pic of my guns stored on it. She bought one of those coffee mug kits where you slip in a kid's picture or drawing or somthing.......instead she pasted in a color cutouts of most of my different guns (and one of her cat). [:D] It was cool!

I love those gun ones!  I thought about picking one up for work.  But I'm not sure what my coworkers would think about it, so I'll just avoid it there.

I, like most of you all, prefer certain mugs and will only drink from them.  Presently, at work, I have a nice ceramic mug I bought from the US Navy.  It's my brother's ship (crest).  USS WASP LHD-1.  I likes it a lot!

Here are some of my mugs, mixed in with some of Oleg Volk's mugs (that's the only way to list mugs on the site - all at the same time)

What do my mugs say about me?

I like guns and dislike liberals.

My mug is a big black one that holds about 2 regular cups of coffee. I got it as a gift from a lady in my building at work (she does decorative baskets & such) because I found her Credit card (I didn't know her at the time) and looked around to find out who's it was. She was impressed with the fact that I would go through so much trouble for someone I didn't know (not to mention use the card, but obviously thats a criminal act) so she made me a nice little package with the mug and a few little goodies. I like it just cause it reminds me about doing good deeds for others and that it does come back to you, even if it is in small ways.

In the Navy my mug was that western one with "Theres alot of things they didn't tell me when I signed up with this outfit" written on it.

The leading first tried to make someone throw it away.  I took it back to the barracks.

Now, I use one of those stainless insulated mugs to take in my truck.

At work, it is always those huge union-sized styrofoam cups.

The one I'm drinking out of right now has "Puppies Sandcastle" on it.  I grabbed it this morning because it seemed larger than the other mugs that were clean.

My favorite mug is the one my father gave me.  It is the mug he has been drinking coffee out of since I was about 5, if not longer.  I mentioned to him that him drinking out of that mug was one of my earliest memories and a few weeks later he gave it to me.  It's plain white and heavy duty.

My office mug is cobalt blue glass with the Gator logo (like the one in my avatar) etched into it.

My "go to" mug at home is a big ole ass one that got at the Tabasco farm tour in LA. It holds about 20 oz.

Mine is big, stainless with a lid, and says "World's #1 Dad."  It was a Father's Day gift from my boys (right after I gave them each a 10/22 -- Who says you can't buy love?)

As far as mugs go, I have a couple Northrup Grumman ones that my dad gave me that I'll never through away..  But I don't drink much coffee or hot cocoa, although there's three glasses that I use religiously.  If they're not available, I may not drink.  They are USMC Ball glasses that I've collected from some of the birthday balls that I've been to.

Ps.  One is more of a large glass mug for drinking beer.  Go figure!
