I know that this is probably just a scare tactic to get us to give this site more money... And there is a chance Bush will win...

But, what anti-gun laws will we be faced with in 5 years 10 years... How long can we keep ahead? I worry when I see how many sheeple agree with Kerry and think he is the best choice... He is a FREAK! Can't they see that? With all of the brain washing going on with the youth of America soon there will be more votes on their side...  This has just been bugging me all day...

We just won a big one and after this Nov we can start working on the 89 Exec order or the 68 GCA, better yet. That thing needs to die badly.
Overall americans are seeing the failed policies of the socialists. The evidence is everywhere.  The young are the ones to win, soon the Roosevelt Dems and then the Hippy generation will be dead. On top of that the libs have murdered millions of their own children. No wonder they have to brainwash yours in the schools. The final nail in their coffin will be the end to their control of the courts.

OK... What it comes down to is that if Kerry gets enough sheeple, dead people and pets to vote for him then he will get the chance to appoint 3 or so supreme court judges... They will of course be anti-American and anti-gun... Those damn judges seem to live forever and that could be a major disaster!

I'd rather see the '89 Exec. Order or the '86 machine gun law die. I don't think that paying the NFA tax is right but I would much rather have new production MGs for $5000 plus $200 instead of $15K + $200

And there is a chance Bush Kerry will win...

I would say Bush's chances are much better than Kerrys, so the above should say Kerry.
As long as the Reps maintain at least one of the branches of gov preferably the senate it will be hard to pass any gun legislation.  Remember Clinton said the AWB cost the dems 20 seats in the house.  I'm thinking reasonable dems will not want to revisit that again.

The biggest threats come from a possible Exec Order, but I don't know if Kerry could actually legally do this.  Some on the board could propably clarify this.

The single biggest threat if Kerry get in is a guy named Eliot Spitzer. and Supreme Court appointments.  Spitzer will do everything he can to sue the industry out of existence.  Supreme court speaks for itself

I have been thinking that maybe listening to the media yesterday after the debate had me a little brain washed... And I am guessing that is why I worry.... It gets a little depressing when watching and listening to the biased stuff on TV... I thought Bush did well... But the media told me that he failed... Then at work everyone else also thought he didn't do so well since that is what they were told. Also it is depressing to hear how many of those I work with are scared of guns in general or when those who love to hunt don't care if black evil guns are banned along with hi-cap mags. So I do worry a little when I am surrounded by this day after day...

I did take one of them with me.. He liked it so much he got him self a semi-auto 22... But he is still new and it will take some more time to get him over to the dark side... Then there is the Anti-gun brain washed chick I work with who would rather see someone die or get raped before shooting the attacker... But she is special she tells me because her husband is going to be a cop someday and will have the special right to shoot an attacker to protect her.... Then she tells me the same old stuff you hear on TV how a gun in the home is more likely to kill all the children. I showed her a copy of the UT state law on self defence and then she told me how the law was on my side but how I was going to get sued... You can never win with her... She is like Kerry, just keeps changing to fit the situation.

I have made up my mind.  I think that there are too many sheeple out there... And this is what worries me. Maybe I see so many sheeple because I am in a college town...?

I had someone tell me once that if I shot someone who was trying to kill me that I would be as bad as them.  That is the kind of crap we are up against.  People are totally brain washed.  Shoot your television.  They call it television programming for a reason.

Actually, you probably will get sued even if you fire in self defense, and are completely justified under the law.  I'm not a lawyer, but civil lawsuits as I understand them can be brought even if your actions were completely justified and legal.  A friend of mine killed two armed perps breaking into his home, and it cost him a chunk of money to defend himself against the families of the scumbags, who declared my friend had robbed them of the thug's potential lifetimes earnings.

Lawyers...most of them, ugh.

As for TV it only comes on for the debates then about 1 min into post debate comentary I turned it off... I read books or spend my time here on this addictive forum....

You need to turn off the TV... seriously.  Everything but FNC leans so far left it's a wonder their buildings don't fall over.  Fox on the other hand leans LESS LEFT than everyone else so they are called "Right Wing" by the sheeple/socialist/Democrats.

I get ALL my info from the web now and CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC sites are NOT part of that data except as a cross check.  TV news is only for SHTF/RFN type stories.

By all accounts here GWB kicked Kerry's ass bloody in the last debate.  The MSM called it a "draw" for the most part.  Their websites had 10's of thousands of votes registered less than an hour after the debate ended with a HUGE majority saying that Kerry won (nope, no poll stuffing by script kiddies going on there ).  There were reports after the first debate that some newsrooms were flooded by e-mails saying that Kerry won the debate and did a great job... funny that the timestamps on those e-mails were BEFORE THE DEBATE HAPPENED.

Nope, either reprogram your TV to skip the bullshit "mainstream media" channels or develop the discipline simply not to stop on them.
