What do you guys think about this mount? Does anyone know who makes it? Is it available for civilian purchase? It looks like it would be a "last resort" type thing where your primary weapon needs to be reloaded (which it shouldn't if you practice proper reloading technique-tactical reloads and speed reloads) but you cannot take the time to do so because you must still engage a target. Any and all input is appreciated.

Thank you,

Justin

Ah, the much lauded "Red X" mount. Few and far between, and difficult to come by.

Doesn't work for me. I need the ability to engage two zombies simultaneuosly.

Hey, hey, hey, let's watch the accusations. My board skills are not weak. If you didn't get my poor attempt at a joke, scroll down.

Justin

Joke Explanation: I responded to the allegations that my board skills are weak but I didn't denie the weed smoker part (I saw this joke in tom Hank's movie The Terminal). Now smack yourself for not getting it.

Does that mean they are not available to the public?

Edited: I am a dumbass, I didn't realise that the image didn't load (I thought it was just my computer-I've been seeing a lot of those "RED X" images lately).

You got punked by Ed Senior.
I don't think I have ever seen that.
Do you make these things or something?

No, in fact, one of the purposes of this post was to find out who manufactures them. Wouldn't it make more sense to use this instead of the SureFire forward grip (for their Millenium Universal weapon light series). You could even strap the Glock (or any other handgun) with a LaserMax [laser] sight and a pressure-switch equpped surefire light and you'll have some serious firepower. I know it looks like something Rambo would want, but it does have some merit to it.

Haha, funny guy. This is a serious question and I am looking for a serious answer. If you are not going to answer, then don't. Otherwise, any input is appreciated. Thanks.

The mount "is not for me" either, but, I am sure it could be of value to an Entry Team. Either way, it would be nice to find out a little more about it. Thanks.

It needs to be turned 180 degrees.

I think you would land in prison unless you coughed up $200 for a tax stamp on that Glock. Given the speed that can be achieved by practicing transitions from a rifle to a pistol in a holster, I think that it is unnecessary.

How's about a mil-sped aluminum, perciseon machined cup holder to go with that? don't forget the buttstock MRE pouch and 9-o'clock rail canteen holder. along with uber tactical 3'o'clock rail plutonium powered search light, and the three backup sight systems. soon, you'll run out of room to hang the four extra mags you like to have 'on hand'.

with all that useles shit hanging off your gun, all I can say is GOOD FUCKING LUCK. Nothing besides a light and a foregrip, for me (if even that much), thanks.
