I keep a 5 D-cell maglight in the back seat of my car. It makes for a good softball bat and beatdown stick (if need be). And it makes a dandy flashlight, too!
Link Posted: 7/8/2002 10:04:12 PM EST
I keep a set of quad mount M-2 .50 caliber machine guns with 20,000 rounds of ammo under my drivers seat in my Jeep. All I have to do is press in the cigarette lighter and it swings to my roof, ready for action.
Link Posted: 7/8/2002 10:06:12 PM EST
Fast food wrappers, old mail, nails and ammunition for guns that i don't own.
Link Posted: 7/8/2002 10:07:32 PM EST
I drive a small truck so space is very limited. I have a 5 D-cell maglight, tire pressure gauge (the kind with the glass face, not the ink pen kind), stock tool set for changing tires, 20 feet of nylon rope, extra quart of oil, a 400 watt car stereo amp, probably 200 lost M&Ms, and assorted change. I know there's some other stuff under there, but I can't remember what it is and I'm too lazy to look.
Link Posted: 7/8/2002 10:13:26 PM EST
Kimber 1911 .45 in my center console, and a Bushy M4gery in the back folding seat.
Link Posted: 7/8/2002 10:15:13 PM EST
Beretta 92 in the console, uhh.. an umbrella under the seat. My maglight usually rolls around in the very back of the jeep.

I ran out when I tried to use it on my windshield. Now I'm trying to find a 12 pack of spring tension and head light for spares.

I can't put anything under my seat because it contains the electric seat mechanism. But I do carry a 3-D cell Mag-lite close by for personal protection. Here in calif. they have funny laws concerning concealed weapons. I was an intersection of Pico & Union in downtown L.A. and this gang member reached thru an open window and beat the piss out of a hapless motorist.

What about 100 feet of shoreline, or a left-handed bulkhead stretcher?

WARLORD..... I too live & work in the L.A. area. I carry either one of the following not under my car seat (too slow to get to in a hurry), but I do carry under my right leg: Beretta .45 or Hk45 USP or Beretta 9mm (rarely) or S&W 9mm 6906 (very rarely) I wish some gang member would try to reach into my car. My life would be in jeopardy and I "believed he was car jacking me".....lmao. GET SOME!!!!!!

A couple of metric wrenches. Nothing too big, mind you, but depending on which one I grab its pre-set to 9mm or 10mm. :-) j/k, really its a 3 cell maglight since CCW is illegal here in MO, and I wouldn't want to do anything illegal [}:D] FOTBR

I would carry too, but I got stopped/cited for speeding a couple of times in that area, and LAPD would have me in the slammer faster than a gang-member. I don't work in downtown L.A. anymore, thank goodness. When I do drive thru that area, it is always with the windows up, and doors locked. OT: A while back, further up the street on Bonnie Brae there was a collision between two cars, and I personally saw a driver reach into the glove box get a gun, and literally chased the other driver around their collided cars. Man, I put my ride in reversed and got out of there real quick. SHIT!

You need to start whippin ass on those slack jawed kansas city f@&&o+s and St. Looey liberals! Don't let Sprint (yeah, the phone company) and the liberal town folk run that state! I'm looking at moving back there to be with my family and it's going to be a pain in the ass to bring my machineguns! And what's this "no supressor" BS? I move away for a couple of decades and the whole place goes right in the shitter. I'm going to have to move back, incorporate my property as a city and buy a bunch of junky plastic HK's like Whacko Jacko did for NeverEverLand. At least they have a "don't call me" list for phone solicitors in MO........... Edited to add: I'm cleaning out from under my seat and adding a can of Whoop Ass

Which so far hasn't done a darn thing about reducing the number of calls I get -- the worst offender is the MO Deputy Sheriff's organization, trying to raise money for something or other that they want. Nothing against LEOs, but when they call me in the middle of dinner, and ask for money, well, I mean it when I tell them to go burn in hell. Which is nicer than what I do to other companies that call -- tape player patched into phone line that plays "Macarena" -- I just punch play, and leave the phone sit for an hour or so. [}:)]

What - no fire extinguisher? You can always wait for jumper cables come to you but if you ever need a fire{arm, extinguisher} you generally need it NOW. No firearms under the seat though. Just a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, ditty bag of travel size toiletries, and a CB radio so that if I ever need to call for help, I can listen to truckers braggin about the girl in Atlanta last night, cause nobody can hear you with one of them little rubber whip antennas anyway. The CB does come in handy in traffic though - which is the only reason it stays. Both lanes crawling - you got a pretty idea you REALLY ought to be in one lane or the other, but WHICH? Truckers are coordinating lane changes for construction and accidents 2-3 miles back.

A Ka-Bar 2nd gen. Fighting knife. It does double duty. First is obvioubly for defense. 2nd is that it's a good way to deflate an airbag that is suffocating you.

I keep my MOJO under my seat? Whenever some idiot thinks he's got road rage. I commence to beating the snot out of him with it and my buddy keeps hollering "Mo Joe!, hit him some mo Joe!"

"What - no fire extinguisher? You can always wait for jumper cables come to you but if you ever need a fire{arm, extinguisher} you generally need it NOW." He's right guys. Everyone should keep a fire extinguisher on hand. About a year or two back I had my big 4x4 Chevy catch on fire out in the mountains. God damn mechanic rag fell out of its hole and landed on the engine. Bastard caught on fire and burned up all my electrcal cables. Good thing I had a little mini extinguisher bolted to the firewall on the driver's side. [;)]

Right after Christmas last year I had a whole pile of shit under the passenger seat that my true love gave to me. There were birds of various types like french hens, turtle doves, geese (I hate geese) and a god damed partridge. There were eight twinks in tights jumping around and some bastards blowing on "pipes". She gave me a fist full of pimp-like rings. I guess I'm supposed to be Mr. T now. I suppose I should clean all that shit out, but I can't just throw away Christmas presents. I'll wait till after Christmas this year. Hopefully, she won't get me the same thing this year.

A Navy Ka-Bar diving knife in the center console..that's about it. Too paranoid to keep a rifle in the back. Last thing I need is for some dumb sh!t to steal the car, and me having to explain to the cops "Oh, yah, and he also got my pre-ban AR shorty I keep in the back..." They'd probably arrest me for giving weapons to a criminal, or something.
