I weight.  My AR is a Highpower rifle, and without the weight, the rifle is, well, less than balanced.  If it were a fighting rifle, it would not have a heavy barrel and no weight in the rear either.

Ditto the hole but maybe I should put extra ammo in there?

Do you put the cheeze whiz on before or after the condom?

89Saleen, welcome to ar15.com!

Because I live in the Occupied California Republic a.k.a. Peoples' Republic of Kalifornia (PRK) I keep a photocopy of my registration papers in the buttstock compartment.

We've been taking it up the butt here since 1989.  Only the few and the brave like me remain.

I have USGI cleaning kits in mine.  These come in a triangular bag designed to fit in the buttstock.  Usually available at gun shows for around $10.

Standard butstock cleaning kit. The guy that I bought my first AR from served in Vietnam and he said that the guys he knew stored their pot in there.

My weapons both have collapsable stocks. But when I was in the service my platoon leader used to use his as a spit can for his chew when in the choppers or planes. ewww

My AR15's have either the "TeleStock" or the "TeleStyle" stock, so they don't have "ButtHoles"...technically speaking, of course.

The correct answer here, for my rifles, would be "buffers and springs".

Geez, whatta question.

I keep a "bore snake", a small bottle of LSA, and a round paintbrush with the handle cut off(kinda like a miniature barbers brush.)  I also keep a GI cleaning kit, and some spare parts in my Buttpack.
