Sure its not fireproof but me thinks the ammo will stay dry with a couple of Eva Dry's in there.
OPSEC stealthy too...

I don't have a single round stored in a fireproof-anything.
If my house burns down I'd be far more worried about things other than my ammo going up in flames.
If it works for you then it works for you. I don;t think that thing could handle the weight of many rounds if you intend to be mobile with it

Maybe use into store beer... A couple bags of ice, should be good for a day or two.

I think it would be better used for keeping food and drink chilled. Plus, if you filled that up with ammo, it would probably weigh at least 300 pounds.

Do you need something that is portable? If not, just get a JOB BOX or something similar.

yeah, fill it up and see if you can pull it.

just get some ammo cans and put them under the bed like normal people, or stack them up and put a old box over the top

I have one of the Plano molded storage boxes. Think I picked it up at Sportsman's on sale for $29 or something like that.
Perfect for storing loose boxes of ammo that are not in cans.

No offense... but there are literally tons of pallets of surp .50 cal ammo cans, with rubber seals, out there for $10-$13 a can..... load 'em up, drop in a few moisture absorbers.... and stack 'em high. Depending on where you live, even the garage is suitable. A .50 cal can will hold about 1000 rnds of 5.56/.223

This, I can't imagine filling that up with ammo, then pushing it around.....without the wheels breaking off.

This. I would think the weight of the ammo would totally destroy it.
