Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What do do when far from home?

I started running vol. fire and ems in highschool and i loved it, great station, great guys. now im in a mil college a few hours away and i cant run for a few months. And i cant go home whenever i want either. Is there any thing yall do to stay sharp or keep from going crazy?

seriously, good luck.  I get so stir crazy when I get separated from the fam and job.  


I end up oiling guns and cleaning them in a rather OCD manner.

What he said. Just remember to change hand positions with both the XBox and Pr0n to avoid Repetititve Motion Injury.

Is there a department in your area? Do they allow ride-alongs? I know if our JAFOs are actually capable of doing work (instead of just sitting there like log bumps), we'll let them.
