Its 2/23 ( two twenty three, .223) and I picked up a new custom upper, ML3, and buttload of other stuff to celebrate. Thanks to PK Firearms for their help and awesome service. Will post pics after the build party.

Got the USPMO for my third tax stamp to SBR another one of my AR's.
Paid for my Essex stainless steel 1911 frame that is on order from Brownells at one of the local toy stores.
put a Henry Big Boy .357 on layaway so I can get back into SASS

Had the day off; went to the camera store, bought a lottery ticket ($170 million) at a party store, and then did some grocery shopping. Worked on some freelance stuff.

I went to my REGULAR job (Running pilot truck for a trans' company) and then interviewed and got hired by shop to manage BLDG #9 of their production facility.

I didn't WAN'T a second job but with the congress acting stupid these days I thought a little extra cash to throw towards guns would be a good thang

Got my spare propane cylinder filled, went to the local fun shop for some ammo and to fondle the ARs, then filled my 5 gallon gas cans, and straightened out all the crap in the garage.

Had a meeting, worked on spring/summer schedules, made some travel arrangements, did a little paperwork, went to work.

I'm looking at flights now. Nothing like a quiet weekend at home, to make me think of planning time away!

Went to work. Worked till 4. Left work and went home for an hour. Met my girlfriend at Subway for a quick dinner, then went to see Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella at a middle school(we knew a couple students from church), went to Starbucks for chatting and hot chocolate. Came home, started posting on ARFCOM.

installed 4 windows in an antique building,picked up a RIA 1911 that FINALLY came in from Sarco-bonus it came with 3 mags with floorplate extensions.now i'm sittin on my tired ass.

Went with my boss and another salesperon to see a large customer of ours. After that I met a buddy at the bar and had lunch and oggled the large chested bar tender. She also showed us her new tats.

After two hours of lunch I went back to work and surfed.

Slept 'til noon. Got up, scratched my nuts. Got a mug of coffee, logged onto ARFCOM.

Perused around the innanet for a few hours. Kissed the wife when she got home from work, ate the dinner she cooked me.

Poured myself a big Screwdriver and am fuckin' off on the innanet again.

God, I love 3 day weekends.

Went to work expecting to run a few miles, instead we went to breakfast and I had a 3 egg Denver scramble.

Went back to the office, surfed the internets until 1100 then bailed for home.

Rolled into the drive about 1200, hopped out and headed up the front walk and Holy Bajeezusbug!!!! what was sitting next to the door?

Ran about 20 load cases in a new NASTRAN model and and a trial normal modes analysis, then tried one more variation of setting up generalized reactions with gap elements; the SOB still won't converge.

Then I went to a high school musical in an adjacent town where AeroE.1 was playing cello in the pit orchestra.

Now I think I will have some pie. Probably.

My dad,myself, and my oldest son went walleye fishing in the river this morning.

Caught 243 walleye all together, what a blast.

Went ice fishing in the afternoon and we all caught our limit of trout.

Tonight, I tore apart my marlin 336A, polished and tuned up the action.

Also called vet. to make an appointment for my dog to get his teeth cleaned.

Price they said would be around $150.00

Spent most of the day at the hospital getting my 74 year old Mother registered for carotid artery surgery Monday. The right one is 65% blocked with an ulcer at the end of the blockage. The doctors act like this is just another surgery and it's no big deal. They also tell us she is a walking time bomb for a stroke if she doesn't have it done. To say the least we're a little worried. A prayer would be nice if you have one.
