If (when) we reach the point of banning guns, we can either say no, press the reset button, and try again... or our other option is to simply do as we're told. There is no point to burying your guns. Use them, or turn them in. |

A bigger enforcement nightmare for the federal government than Prohibition was.
EDIT: Instead of "Speakeasys," I predict there would be "Guneasys," and a whole shitload of cops looking the other way because it just isn't worth it. The whole thing would become such a massive legal mess, and a drain on resources badly needed in other areas, that sooner or later it would get thrown out just like Prohibition was. |

I hate to say this, but BEFORE your guns are banned, an attempt will be made to CONFISCATE your 401k and ROTH accounts, because the U.S. Gov't Pension system is on the verge of bankrupty. Then, using REGISTRATION RECORDS and INFORMANTS your guns will be "REQUESTED" in return for getting a RETIREMENT PAYMENT. IF you DON'T turn in your guns, YOU'LL BE HOMELESS. Freedom of speech will be the first to go, it will be added into the list of "hate crimes" and it will be illegal to even speak against the messiah or his policies. His new national police force will see to that. After that, ending property ownership, capping personal wealth, limiting movement and freedom of religion are the next to go.

The "Fairness Doctrine" will come long before gun bans. The socialists hate and fear conservative talk radio with a raging fanaticsm. They will do everything possible to crucify Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and anyone else espousing the conservative mantra. It may eventually get overturned in court, but we must remember that Obama will be choosing Federal judges so nothing is certain. Except rampant socialism.
