Thinking about a new watch and can't decide between black vs silver dial.

ETA- All major life decisions require arfcom input!

Why do u care what every one thinks about the color of a watch. It is your watch. I flipped a coin it told me you should get black

I like them both, and I was bored. I realize it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, but it's not like this is the first "help me decide" thread to sneak into GD.

There's some Swiss company that has a few models you can customize. Different face colors and materials, different number indicators, different bands... They run from a little over $100 to near $1k.

Damn if I can remember what the company was called. They had one or two I would like.

stainless/silver/white gold. Yellow gold is for old people and people who want to show off. White is discreet, yet good looking

Well thanks for that! Now I'll be looking at that site for hours!

I just built one from stratch... $285. If I only had the money... I have a couple decent watches, but rarely wear them, so it's hard for me to justify dropping coin on a nice watch.

I do like the Porsche Design 911 Turbo Chronograph... If I only had about $700 that I had nothing else to do with...
