Just curious what everyone will be up to.

I was going to Vegas to join some buddies from CA, but could not find a cheap enough flight. Therefore, this is the first New Years in the last five years that I will be spending at home by myself. Do they still have Dick Clarks rockin eve. Or maybe MTV New Years special?

So what are you guys up to? Maybe I can live vicariously thru you guys.

Headin' down to Tampa Monday morning, and coming back Thursday afternoon. Roasting a whole [i]litson kawali[/i], so I will be filling up on pork and [i]lumpia![/i] Smokin' cigars, too. I hope the war can wait a little while, as our host is a SMSGT at MacDill AFB who is as busy as a one-armed paperhanger as is.

I'll be working an extra job New Years Eve. I normally hang out close to home on New Years Eve, but the job pays $30 an hour. That will help fund my trip to the gun show the next weekend.

Hey LT..
We have been dying to meet you anyway, why not drive 3 hours east and come stay here for the night? A Victorian mansion B&B awaits you. On the house!..... as we have no one to celebrate the New Year with either, except each other, and we are getting damned sick of each other, lol.
We can drink good German booze and beer, play Show and Tell with guns, and accomodate you in luxury. My dear hubby, myself, and Kar98 are here, and we know very few folks in TX either.

Come play in E TX and let us spoil ya [:)]
We even have DSL lines in the guest rooms, if you got a laptop.
Let me know if you are at all interested, and I will send you the phone #s and driving directions.

Damn!!!!

Hannah, I wouldn't mind coming east to see ya guys. However my car is not in the best of health. I also wanted to go to Shreveport to get powerball tickets Tues. but did not want to get stuck in between. I have bad lifters on my car and have been advised against freeway driving until I get it fixed. [:(]

Kpel, thanx man, but again the car. Also I gots to work in Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. [:(]

That was the best one. Heighten security because of possible terrorists activity. A stupid moron climbed a palm tree and plunged to his death. Darin award winner. Free champagne for ALL hotel guests. An hour after midnight and there were no earth threatening occurrences, we spent the next five hours at the Crazy Horse. [:)]
