Ok so with the reward and all what cartridge would Arfcom pick to take one of these critters?
I am thinking a 308 would probably be appropriate for hunting Big Feets. |

Slugs? Buckshot? Powdered Gypsie Tears? |
Paintball gun with a vid cam attached.
Double tap yeti with pink balls, hock.gif throw down beef jerky to distract him, run like crazy, and sell the footage to highest bidder. |

anything that can kill you fast gets the .458 win taken out of the closet
although i agree with the above statement 100% |
There it is right there!!! |
5.45x39 = too small
5.56x45 = too small 7.62x39 = too small 7.62x51 = good choice .458 SOCOM = better choice .50 Beowulf = better choice anything other than a semi-auto = bad choice |
FAL paratrooper, 7.62x51 NATO... Lots and lots of spare mags.

Fail! A Samurai Sword is not a cartridge. This is a gun board need I remind you. The Big Foot would not be stopped by some over sized ginsu, this is ferocious creature with oversized feet after all.... |
5.56 and lots of it
suppresive fire may be required to break contact |
Poachers in Africa use FALs to shoot elephants, I'm pretty sure a .308 will work fine on a monkee. |
A .38 , 22lr , and a wheelbarrow of course!!!! What'd I win?!?!?!
Chalk up another .45-70. Jacketed 505 grainers will ruin just about anythings week.
I'm sure a 5.56 round will be sufficient. Either way, we don't have Bigfoot here in Florida, so I guess I'd have to go hunting for the "legendary" Skunk Ape.
.308 would be the minimum I'd take, in a high capacity semi-auto.
You are going to need a semi-auto in at least .308, because once you kill one, you are going to have to kill the others, or we won't be hearing from you again.
Don't forget to aim for the nervous system.(head or spine) You need to drop them in their tracks, or else they go screaming off in to the forest. |
Big Foot?!! Oh come on...There is no such thing, someone would have popped one by now..
.30-06 or 7mm Rem. Magnum or .300 Win. Magnum |

If I had to go with something that I have in my safe RIGHT NOW, I'd take my A-Bolt in .300 Win Mag, loaded with 180 grain Accubonds - this is for mountainous hunting. If I were going into the brush after him, and would have to shoot fast, my Garand with standard 150gr ball.
