Yes, it's gun related. I don't want to wear Dockers (about 10 years now?) any more the same reason I do not eat at McDonalds or Taco Bell. So what brand of pants do you wear that are, for our sake, politically correct? Also, are the Columbia and Royal Robbins brands of sportswear pro-sportsmen? I notice Columbia has 'duck hunt' pants or something of the like listed in their catalog.

I very seldom wear pants! [;)] For the most part I wear shorts, year 'round, and generally they are of the BDU variety.

My husband wears the pants.. but I say which color!

Royal Robbins, why bother with any other brand?

FUBU.....allows me to carry my Car15 in an inside the pants holster [:D]. RR or canvas work pants from sears. For a night on the town it's usually Perry Ellis or Greg Beane.

Lands'End Chinos. Usually, khaki color.

Wrangler is a pro-gun, pro-hunting company. But you better go and stock up...KMart won't be around forever!

Prison Blues made on the inside...to be worn on the outside.

I usually wear Gap khakis to work and Polo out to play.

Royal Robbins Carhartt blue jeans (Die Levi's, Die!)
Link Posted: 1/20/2002 7:41:11 AM EST
Most of the time I wear cargo pants made by Plugg. I've got about 8 pairs in different colors: blue, dk gray, lt gray, and tan. I've got no idea what their political views are, but the pants are comfortable, they wear well, and they're barely over $20 a pair at Robinson's May.

I live naked, in the wild and eat twigs and berries and pretty much stay to myself. I don't want to buy anything from a company that is anti gun or may employ someone who is anti gun. I won't wear animal skins because they are definetly anti gun. I won't talk to people because I'm afraid I might have a social interaction with someone who is anti gun. I break into peoples homes to use thier computers to post on AR15.com so I can communicate with people who think exactly the way that I do.

(After clicking on the "General Discussion" button AGAIN: I wear Land's End relaxed fit jeans almost exclusively. If someone tells me they're anti-gun, I'm going to start going around naked. (And yes, that's a very serious threat!)

bib overalls by liberty...or bdu,s
Link Posted: 1/20/2002 12:34:23 PM EST
He he he. This reminds me of a line from the movie "Born in East L.A." "I like you panths. Why don't you take off your panths..." Said by two big light in the boots type fellows when Cheech in thrown in a Mexican prison.

Imitation Dockers. Real Dockers are better, but I don't buy them anymore.
Link Posted: 1/20/2002 2:04:30 PM EST
Aw crap... Levi's is anti-gun? [pissed] I've got a buttload of jeans and Dockers that I'm just gonna have to wear out. What about LL bean? Are they firearm friendly?

Dickies 874s.
Link Posted: 1/20/2002 3:13:54 PM EST
Bad news boys, Lands End is anti gun and Eddie Bauer dropped sportsmen a few years ago in favor of the yuppie set. L.L. Bean however, is very gun friendly!

What about LEE, are they anti-gun?

Great...got some good suggestions here for weekend cargo type pants. What should I wear to work? I usually wear my khakis, do any of these companies make khakis that are appropriate for a more formal occasion?
Link Posted: 1/20/2002 6:52:50 PM EST
This is a stupid topic. What jeans makers are anti-gun, and where should I spend my precious dollars? Do I have to worry about toilet paper manufacturers and their CEO's political leanings too? I'll go put on my FLAME-RETARDANT pants and check back later!

I wear Wrangler. They're less expensive than Levis and look just as good. Plus they're not anti. [:)] I wear the pants in my household, the ones my wife tells me to. She always buys me Lucky Brand. She says they look good so I go with that. For all I know she dresses me up to look bad so chicks wont hit on me [:)]

What exactly do they do that is anti-gun? I've worn Levi's my whole life, and never thought twice about it.

I wear Old Navy. I hope they aren't leftist, because I get all my clothes there. Has Abercrombie and Fitch dropped all of their sporting past for faggot clothes? tony

I've found that Carhartt is the only brand that fits me right and lasts the longest through the abuse I put them through. I like their pocket T-shirts too. I wear this type of attire to everything, no matter what the occation. And believe it or not, I'm not a closet cowboy (or a full fledged one). I just like the clothes. How anti, or pro gun are they? I'd imagine since you can still buy carhartt at the feed/tractor supply/gun store they're alright.
