Hang on... Poll coming
i would think anything that fat people can buy I'm a size 34 myself.
Pelle pelle, pure playas, boss, polo, tommy hilfiger; you know the cheap stuff.
My ex-g/f would only wear Lucky and Silvers. She said nothing else fit as good. Always wanted me to buy her a pair for her Bday or Xmas.... I was like, "I am NOT spending $80 on 1 pair of jeans you psycho." |
Dickies for the most part, but I own some Carhartts and some Propper BDU pants, as well as dress pants from various brands.
Whatever's cheapest. I can't justify paying $40 per pair of pants.
Levis. I have only purchased 5 pairs in my entire life. My dad had bought 30 pairs over the years, back in the 70's and 80's. They are work pants for him and he was worn them out, but kept them.
I have asked them to honor their lifetime warranty against wear. I have therefore gotten 10 pairs brand new. Costing me nothing, costing them the cost of the jeans. Taking money from an anti-gun company is FUN. |
And Levi Strauss is from San Francisco California!
I try to find American made Carhartt's. They last for a long time!
Whatever is cheap...couldnt care less what the label says.
Nopthing is made in this country any longer so what does it matter? Fashion is for women. |
Dockers. I'd wear 5.11's or the new Columbia stuff but they all scream "He's armed!"
90% of my pants are Eddie Bauers, Carhartts, and Lee jeans
I like Levis but avoid buying them because of their anti-gun stance. Also have a few pairs of Arizona jean Co. (Jacque Penne`), Savanne, etc. |
Ever since I did not read that ad in sportsmansguide carefully? Polyester 5.11 police uniform pants, I hope they wear out soon, I look like an idiot-a cheap idiot...
You have to be pretty hard into guns to know that. I had one weirdo notice that they were "the same pants the {police academy) recruits wear" They started out has climbing pants and you can get similar looking pants from places that sell hiking and climbing clothes. Cabelas sells a knock off but I think they have normal back pockets. |
On-Sale is my favorite brand.
Doesn't much matter. Usually Dickies brown duck chore pants.$12 a pair.Don't last as long as Carhartts, but much cheaper. |
True enough. However, the bad guys know what the good guys wear. And then there's the good guys: while I'm not normally a tinfoil wearing kind of guy (we really need a tinfoil icon, no?) I don't need the local mall ninjas, rent-a-cops and police officers checking me out when I walk into the local Barnes & Noble. aa |
I used to say the same thing about those 5,11 style vests (okay I still won't wear one) but really, if some vermin pegs you wrongly as an off duty cop is he more likely to open fire on your first inside the stop and rob, or will a guy with that level of knowledge decide to try it another time rather than tangle with you? Don't get me wrong, I have mostly thought the same as you, but I'm not sure it makes sense. |

WTF???
I own NOTHING but Wranglers. Not even on the poll???? [JesseVentura]Bunchof pussyassed@#$%^s[/JesseVentura] |
I thought Wranglers were Lee Jeans. I have never owned a pair of Wranglers, or Lees. I always thought they looked ghey. |
American Eagle for "fashion"
Dickies pants and Levis jeans for work. |
When I grew up Wranglers were kid pants, you begged your parents to buy you Levis. |
Vest say: 1. Photographer 2. Old Fart 3. Child molestor 4. Operator (but only if you actually look the part and you are in the right area) 300lb old guys go back to option 3. |
I don't own any casual pants - only suits and jeans. For jeans I wear Diesel or occasionally Guess (used to work at the latter in high school).
+1! |
Which ever triple stitched carpenter denims are the cheapest. Usually that's Levi's.
The one single pair of pants I've had the longest that have been the absolute toughest are a pair of Tommy Hilfiger's, and no, I didn't buy them. Having a pair of jeans for five years is an extremely long time when you work on cars for a living. I'm lucky to get a year out of the Dickie's carpenter jeans. |
What if I put some fly fishing flys on it and wear waders as part of my sheepleflage? |
Option 2 |
Remember when fanny packs were all the rage? NOTHING said GUN!, faster than seeing a guy wearing a fanny pack on his waist.
Lucky brand is more like ~$150 a pair. Un-fucking-believable. I usually wear Dickies or jeans from Express, though I do have two old pairs of Anchor Blue jeans that I haven't thrown away for some reason. I have to wear scrubs for work so that saves wear and tear on my normal clothes which is nice. |
I only wear 5.11's, yeah I know they scream "He's armed" but only to the people who know what 5.11 is, the homies have no clue what the are, the only thing the know is they aren't the shizzle cuz they don't have any diamonds glued on them, or Fat Albert characters drawn with crayon, or gold plated pockets.
......and sagging down below their asses! |
Damn it!!!!! I can't believe I forgot the most important part |
Must be a yankee thing. |
I expect so. Do you iron creases into them? I have to admit the first time I saw someone in his "dress wranglers" I was stumped. We went to eat at the opryland hotel in Nashville (neat place if you are ever there, even if it is situated in the middle of a mall parking lot) seeing a mossy oak sportcoat and bolo tie constituting "dress wear" at a nice restaurant lets you know you aren't in New York anymore. |
