Was gonna shoot in an IDPA comp, but money is tight, so no go.

Instead, we'll probably go to a local water park, since I have free passes. We are also going to go see a movie, which I also have free passes for. Then, we age going to go to the Museum of Science and History, which we have a free family pass for.

The magic word this weekend is FREE.

Absolutely nothing.

I work 36 hours Fri-Sun, and I have one of those jobs where nothing really gets "done", just maintained.

If no one dies or gets injured, it was a good weekend.

Had a close call earlier tonight, but he's breathing again.

Luckily for him the folks that were responsible for him this evening are good at their jobs...

Already got done: Tilled the garden up and planted our fall vegetables.

Going to get done:

Wife and I are going to make and can up 12 quarts or so of Brunswick stew.
Cookout with the neighbors (all of them).

Cold front came in last night, so we are enjoying lovely early fall weather today, all the windows in the house are open and it was delightful to work the tiller without sweating.

Yep...totally, not even a drop of rain fell here.

Link Posted: 9/4/2010 6:28:55 AM EST
Just got done with a 10k run, now I suppose I should go kill some doves and geese
Link Posted: 9/4/2010 2:38:23 PM EST
Well, got the mower going again. Took a little Dremel work but I got it done. I really should've tapped the hole instead of relying on a nut. Hopefully the super glue will keep the nut from coming off (couldn't fine my LocTite.)

Also got the shower door fixed thanks to a steel spacer. Still can't figure out how it got screwed up but I'm thinking a certain 5-y-o had something to do with it.

Didn't get my personal project done but I did get some practice work done with the table saw. I'm hoping to build a bat house to do something about the damned skeeters around here.
Link Posted: 9/4/2010 2:52:41 PM EST
I'm gonna get my Dragon mounted.
