On the bittorrent trackers you can usually find torrents that will let you download every episode of television programs.

I haven't owned a TV in a long time, and the tuner card in my PC hasn't worked since 2004.

Any suggestions for shows that were out over the last couple of years that I should check out? I want to set up my pc to download a shitload of them so I have something to watch later this week.

The only ones I've kept good track of are south park and family guy.

I find the Surviorman show interesting. Basically a guy has himself dropped off out in the middle of nowhere in various climates and has to survive for 7 days on his own usually with no food or water of his own.  It definately shows how much better off you are if you prepare ahead of time.  It also shows that if you calm yourself down and think about your situation surviving isn't impossible.  He's been dropped off in the middle of desert, in the middle of the artic circle, on top of a mountain, and several other inhospitable places.

24 is entertaining, as is The Office.

Jaime Pressley makes My Name is Earl worth watching.

Boston legal, some liberal BS in it, but mostly funny as hell, William Shattner is one of the main actors...... my name is earl,....... By the way when does earl come on now?................................... Stay away from Dallas SWAT, and TEXAS SWAT, they are both anti gun propaganda shows, and will only piss you off, don't waste your memory on it. .... COPS is still good, and FYI TVs are cheap as dirt,
