I have noticed it since 39. I am 44

43. I am 43.
ETA: I just read through the other replies and I'm thinking I need to revise my answer. I feel more mature, I've realized what an unbelievable asshole I'd been for most of my life and have spent the last three years trying to fix whatever damage I can, I noticed that I'm getting squishy in the middle, my skin isn't as resilient, I've got grey in my chest hair and what's left on my head (that doesn't count - went bald at 19). My libido isn't what it used to be but that's a combination of mild depression and my wife not being certain if she should still hate me or not (both from aforementioned "dealing with years of being an inconsiderate asshole"). However, I have as much energy as I used to. When I can get out from behind my desk (and away from my two small kids that climb on me the second I get home from work) and start even moderate exercise (bodyweight stuff, riding a few miles on the bike here and there), the fat falls off quickly and muscle tone appears out of freaking nowhere. My health is great. My vision is fine. My hearing is no worse than it ever was. So, based on others' definition, I guess I'm not old, I just grew up! Who knew? |

At 50. While it's just a number, it does arrive with a wet fish faceslap.

34. I'm carrying about 30 lbs too many and I have 2 little kiddos that wear me out. I'm doing my best to take of myself better now.

When you fire up the computer and you go to arfcom first instead of porn, that is the telltale sign.

I started feeling old at 40, so I did something about it, now I'm 41 and in the best shape I've been since I was 20.
|
|
At 35 I started feeling it. At 40 it was quite apparent. I'm currently 42.
|
|
40 without a doubt. It's been a mild but noticeable downhill from there.

|
I would say in my late 30"s starting around 37. I put a new
roof on our house and it took a long time for the pains to go away after it was finished . |
|
Started falling apart at 30. Blood pressure and cholesterol meds. Teeth went to shit to.

45ish.. beard started going grey, cuts an bumps and bruises healed slower and got some wrinkles in face.
I'm a runner so I stayed pretty young for a long time. Used to run 7 miles a day now do 4. |
|
I always felt (and looked) younger than I actually was until I hit 40.
|
|
Really started feeling it at 30 when all my old injuries started flaring up.

At around age 29 I had two knee surgeries, cancer and pneumonia (twice) in less than two years time. I don't know if I felt old, but I sure felt my mortality.
It was a bit of a kick to my pride when I tried growing out my beard recently and my wife commented, "is that a grey hair in your beard? I've never noticed grey hair on you before?" On the other hand, I'm healthier and stronger now than I was a decade ago, and I hope to be in even better shape a year from now. |

Today I am one year older... But I think I was gipped on the wiser side.

At 42 - My niece made me aware as we were all swimming in my
brother's pool. Apparently my right chest hair is grey and my left black... PaperMaker |

Got my first grey hair at 24
The combination of grey hair and receding hairline made me feel older than I was a long time ago |

I started aging quickly at 47. I still look younger than woman 10 years younger than me, but I sure notice the difference. Growing old isn't for the faint at heart!

I just turned 41. I ache more than I did a few years ago, but f it, I'm goin' down swinging.
|

60 years old here. I still pump iron, walk, and do the things I did when I was 40, just not near the strength level or have the intensity and interst of those days. Yes, it's tough to go to the gym with the 25-40 next to you pumping big and heavy..been there done that. Now it's about balance.??

Happened at 42 for me. All of a sudden I needed reading glasses and my joints started hurting...
|
|
42. That's the year I got a bad case of dry eye and had to stop wearing contact lenses. I also noticed that I had presbyopia.
This thread could benefit from a poll IMO. |

When I realized that Taylor Swift would think I was a creepy old guy.
