I have a good buddy who seems overly interested in all that is paranormal. He sent me the below pics, seeking my opinion of what is behind the set of eyeballs in the background. My first impression was photochop. He told me that the guy who took the pics was too computer illiterate to do such. I then told him it was a Chupacabra, but he wouldn't buy that explanation either.

What say you?

THe 'eyes' in the first 2 pics are explained by the third. Not hard to see or understand.

That's it. Good pickup.

The angles and spacing are identical to the racoon in view and I DL and photoshopped the pics to max out brightness and contrast (which always picks up hidden objects in shadows) and there was nothing around the two "eyes".

It's a reflection of the racoon's eyes.

Above mentioned buddy and the guy who took the pics were convinced that the eyes belonged to some type of big cat. Panther or Mtn. Lion were the key words he was throwing at me. The distance between the eyes is what drew them to the conclusion. "If not a cat, it HAS to be a haint".

The reflection explanation makes sense to me though.

So is that a raw chicken impaled upon the pole????

You should insulate the upper section of the pole with a PVC coupling and wire it to 110V extension cord on a switched outlet then sit & wait to flip the switch. Remember Line aka. Black goes to the top of the pole section. That is if you're going to bait them up.........

Wha'ts hanging on the pole? Looks like a frozen chicken of some sort.

ETA: Looks like a few others asked my question for me. Frozen poultry it is...

So, why do you have a chicken impaled on a pole in your backyard?
Link Posted: 8/7/2005 12:22:30 PM EDT
For the record....I have no clue how that chicken became impaled upon that pole. I don't even know where that pole is located.

Also showing it is a reflection is the fact that when th coons head is crooked so are the extra eyes.
