Winchester, made by Granite. 625lbs. Although it`s what "real safe" dealers call a (Residential Security Container) it is much better than what i had.

I HAD a great gun safe at one time. I took it with me on a fishing trip and ...well, it fell off the boat with all my guns inside.

I have two Sentrys.

How do you like them? I have seen them with electronic locks and THEY ARE CHEAP as far as price go. They were asking 375.00 for a 14 gun one and an electronic lock.

Both of mine are the type you looked at, but with dial combo.

I think for the money they are great. They are heavy enough to make it a chore to drag one off when it is full. Secure enough for my needs.

Edit to add. I asked a locksmith to change the combo on one of them so both safes would have one combination. The factory told him it could not be done. Bit of a pain as the first one I bought has a combo that is very easy to remember.

Sentry 14 gun.

Yeah, I know it's not a "real" safe but when I bought it I knew I was going to be moving and the idea of dealing with a 1,000+ pound monster was more than I was willing to get involved with.

It's better than a Homak and FAR better than nothing at all.

When I relocate, if possible I'll build a vault or secure room.  If not, then the biggest mofo that I can fit in will be the choice.

Stack-On GSX-520 600 lbs+ 1400 deg rated for 30 min.  I was suprised Stack-On made such a safe.
I thought they just made the thin walled gun "lockers".
Found this at Sportsmans Warehouse last year. I  almost killed myself picking it up, driving it home on a trailer, and moving it inside on a refridgerator dolly. My neighbor helped me lift it onto the curb, and over my threshold into the house. its a 13/20 safe.
